Welcome to 517 Youth Competitive Cheer
The point of this league is to introduce and prepare our junior athletes for the sport of Michigan Competitive Cheer. We have modified the middle school rules of MHSAA competitive cheer to fit the safety and developmental needs of our young athletes. This league is a learning environment for our young athletes and is in no way meant to be overly competitive. We compete for learning and growth and to develop the athletes of the future for our Middle School and High School Programs.

All 5-1-7 Youth Cheer board meetings are held at Northwest High School in Jackson, MI. All meetings begin at 12:30 PM. Coaches and representatives from our member schools are welcome to attend these meetings.
